TeacherActive has an amazing opportunity for a primary Teacher to work with an amazing school in Consett to cover maternity leave. The schools offers amazing teaching facilities to encourage students with various specific requirements and disabilities to help enhance their quality of learning and keep the students engaged, which allows such a positive environment.
The school is seeking a Teacher who also has experience Teaching to KS2 level, experience supporting with SAT s. The role of a Teacher is key when providing support to children with additional needs to ensure full engagement of pupils.
A successful SEND Teacher:
- Has relevant Qualifications (QTS) and training in SEND is preferred but not essential.
- Experience handing challenging behaviour.
- Have the ability encourage pupils' confidence, learning and development.
